Covid-19 Testing January 2022

Dear Parent/Carer,

 

 

When we welcome your child to the Academy at the beginning of January it is our intention to offer Covid-19 testing to them at various points during the first week back.  

 

We are writing to you now to ask that you give permission for us to perform a Covid-19 test on your child.  We are planning to commence this testing on Tuesday 4th January 2022 and this will continue throughout the first two weeks of the new term.

 

In order to give us permission (or not) we are asking that you complete our Google form by entering the link below into the search browser on your phone or computer.  Please complete the form fully and then click ‘submit’ and we will receive your response straightaway:

 

 

Our plan is to offer testing to students following this https://docs.google.com/document/d/1MIMKg9LE4slURjVzNyPRC7I2BJJnCAJr/edit.  This will impact on the students return date to our academy so please check this information carefully.

 

Our return dates for students:

Y7 & Y11 return as normal

Y7, Y11, Y10 and Y9 return as normal

All students IN ALL YEAR GROUPS return as normal 

 

Students should arrive for testing at the Student Reception (just past the bike sheds from the car park) at the times listed on the schedule.  Testing will take place in our Sports Hall and students will leave via the back doors out onto the yard where they can walk back to the car park up the steps.  Students do not need to wear their uniform when they arrive for testing as they will return home after they have taken the test.
