Year 10: Return to School & Covid Testing

Dear Parent/Carer,

 

 

We are looking forward to welcoming Y10 back into the Academy on Monday 17 January and it is our intention to offer Covid-19 testing to them at various points on their first day back.  

 

We are writing to you now to ask that you give permission for us to perform a Covid-19 test on your child.  We are planning to undertake this testing on Monday 17 January 2022.

 

In order to give us permission (or not) we are asking that you complete our Google form by entering the link below into the search browser on your phone or computer.  Please complete the form fully and then click ‘submit’ and we will receive your response straightaway. If you completed this consent form earlier this month, there is no need for you to submit it again.

 

 
Our plan is to offer testing to students following the testing schedule below:

Students should arrive for testing via their normal entrance into the academy at the times listed on the schedule.  Students should arrive to the academy in their normal school uniform and fully equipped for the day. Should your child receive a positive outcome from a test, we will make contact with you for your child to return home to begin their isolation period.
