Update on Face Coverings 20 January 2022

Dear Parents and Carers, 

 

As you will know, on Wednesday 19 January 2022, the Prime Minister announced that from today, Thursday 20 January 2022, face coverings are no longer recommended in classrooms. However, given the high number of cases in our area and our student absence rates, if students wish to wear masks in lessons, we would encourage them to continue to do so.

 

From Thursday 27 January 2022 the Government has announced that face coverings will no longer be recommended in communal areas. Students should still continue to wear a face covering on corridors and in indoor social spaces, unless exempt up to Thursday 27 January 2022.
