Dear Parent / Guardian
The ACE programme has been re-imagined for the upcoming academic year.
The ultimate aim of this programme is to prepare students for the journey they are about to take with Outwood and support them with reaching the very top of the pyramid that adorns all of our academies. This is not just about grades, but about helping our children to acquire the moral character that will bring them and our community happiness. Overall, it teaches them to Be Safe, Be Respectful & Be Responsible.
The five modules delivered over 12 lessons in the first half-term takes students through the Learning Journey which ensures students are aiming for the Top Of The Pyramid displaying qualities of an excellent student because ‘It’s Who I Am’.
As students complete the sessions, they are expected to gain signatures on their ACE Passport given to them in September. Their teachers can sign this when they are seen to be fulfilling the success criteria in their lessons.
At the end of the series of lessons, students who have received over 20 our of 25 signatures will be invited to the ACE Celebration and awarded the ACE Bronze Award.
Kind Regards
Laura Kaye
Associate Assistant Principal
