Dear Parents and Carers,

Y11 Success Evening 

We would like to invite your child and family to our Year 11 Success Evening. The main focus of this evening is to enable us to help you to support your child through their final year of their GCSE courses. 

Our evening will take place on Tuesday 19 September from 5:00pm to 7:00pm; the evening will be split into two sessions.

Firstly, we will be serving food, pie and peas, as we are aware many of you may be coming to us straight from work. Secondly, this will be followed by a presentation led by Mrs McQueen, Academy Principal; with contributions from other key staff who will be supporting your child throughout Year 11.

The presentation will cover the following topics:

The evening has been specifically designed for the parents and carers of all Year 11 students. There will be representatives from subject areas who will be able to give guidance and provide information about how to support, encourage and monitor your child’s progress throughout their courses. 

By working together, we can ensure that your child has the best preparation possible so that they can achieve or surpass their target grade.

We do hope that you will be able to join us with your child for this essential evening of information, please use this Google Form to confirm the number of people attending to allow us to cater for everyone in attendance.
