Dear Parents and Carers,
Further to information shared with students and via Google Classroom before half term, I am writing to confirm that your child has started their second round of Y11 Mock Assessments when they returned to us this morning.
All Year 11 students will be undertaking mock assessments between 19 February and 4 March 2024. This is an essential opportunity for students to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding, experience exam conditions and to help inform us of the next steps to take to ensure maximum success.
The exam timetable is below; timetables were shared with students before half term.
I am pleased to let you know that our Year 11 students have been working extremely hard to ensure they unlock their full potential in the upcoming exam period. Teaching and support staff continue to support students and extensive support and resources were shared at our revision festival. Students can access online masterclasses, delivered by senior colleagues within the Trust, as an additional revision resource.
It is vital that students attend all these assessments as the evidence will also be used to finalise predicted grades to support applications to college and apprenticeships; it is really important that we have a precise and accurate picture of student attainment at this stage in your child's secondary academic journey.
We thank you for your ongoing support and we would appreciate you encouraging independent study at home to prepare your child for this assessment period.
Yours faithfully,
Josh Bray
Associate Assistant Principal
