Letter to Year 7 Parents: First Aid in Schools

Dear Parents and Carers,

Your child’s personal development is incredibly important to us and we are delighted to share with you that on Friday 12 July 2024, we have secured the booking of an external provider called First Aid Schools. They will deliver invaluable First Aid to Year 7 and Year 10 Sport Scientists.

First Aid is a compulsory element of the national curriculum and First Aid Schools deliver bespoke, fun workshops which are active and engaging. They provide young people with the skills and knowledge to understand actions which may be required in an emergency situation.

Students will attend the workshop with their form group for one hour during the school day on Friday - form tutors will notify the students of the time and location prior to Friday. If you would like any further information please do not hesitate to contact m.mitchell@shafton.outwood.com.
