SEND: Nibble and Natter evening

Dear Parent/Carer,  

I am writing to invite you to the Nibble and Natter: SEND support and networking evening.

The focus for this session will be led by Outwood Academy Shafton and supported by professionals within the Local Authority that offer external support for students with SEND. The aim of the session is to discuss key transition points throughout a child’s life and what we as a school and you and parents can do to support the worries and anxieties around transition.  There will be time to network with other parents of SEND children and ask the Inclusion team any questions or queries that you may have. 

I am aware that for some of our parents/carers it is an opportunity to discuss concerns and share your own experiences with your children and this could support some of our other parents within our community. As an academy we are passionate about supporting our local community.

Please can I request that this is completed at your earliest convenience, so that we can ensure that the session can run smoothly and coherently. There will be light refreshments available.
